01

Who we are

Commercial lamb and beef finishing in the Waterberg

Yamin Farming is a lamb and beef finishing operation outside Bela-Bela in the Waterberg District of Limpopo. Weaners come in weighed and tagged, finish on a high-energy maize ration and leave market-ready for abattoirs, butcheries and wholesale buyers in Gauteng and Limpopo, every week of the year.

Every batch is tagged, weighed at intake and tracked through a vet-supervised protocol with full withdrawal records. The focus is simple: consistent feed intake, healthy animals and carcasses that meet spec on delivery day.

Own feed program

High-energy maize-based rations with lucerne and a species-specific mineral pack, adjusted for growth stage and season.

Vet-supervised

Full induction protocol, withdrawal periods observed, records available for every batch.

No hormones, no steroids

We do not use growth hormones or steroids. Animals finish on feed, management and clean conditions alone.

Location

Why the Waterberg works

01

Low-stress handling

An open layout supports calm movement, careful observation and steady daily handling from intake to dispatch.

02

N1 corridor

Direct highway access to Gauteng means short, low-stress hauls to Pretoria and Johannesburg.

03

Room to do it properly

Large bushveld holdings mean low-density pens, fresh air and calm conditions — less stress, better growth and a more consistent carcass.

04

Proven livestock country

A deep livestock history, established auction rings, reliable transport and experienced stockmen all within reach of the property.
