Lamb finishing

Weaner lambs come in weighed and tagged, step up onto a high-energy ration and leave as market-ready carcasses.

01

How a lamb moves through

01

Weaner intake

Lambs are bought on frame, condition and health. They arrive weighed, tagged and settled into quiet pens with clean water and roughage before anything else happens.

02

Adaptation

Energy is lifted in steps, never in jumps. The rumen gets time to adjust, intake stays even and the lambs stay on their feet through the change.

03

Finishing

One consistent ration, fed fresh every day, in pens with room to move and lie down. Calm handling and daily observation do most of the work.

04

Sorting & dispatch

Lambs are handled and sorted individually on weight and fat cover. Only the ones that are ready go on the truck; the rest stay on feed.
